Churchdale Road Allotments

off Churchdale Road, Eastbourne, East Sussex BN22 8RX

‘Delights of the Garden’ was a unique opportunity to visit the seven allotments managed by Gather Collective during the last three weekends of September 2021 and explore a range of artworks from members of Compass Community Arts, children from Blackberry Buzzard, Amberstone Artists and individual artists.

Works included paintings, drawings, prints, sculptures and temporary interventions inspired by the allotments and the natural environment as part of Heritage Open Days 2021.

‘Delights of the Garden’ was realised with the support of The Argus Appeal through Sussex Community Foundation, SEC Foundation and The Duke of Devonshire’s Charitable Trust
